A profile in audio

So NPR runs these Storycorps pieces -- brief stories about people talking about their lives. Sometimes they are good. Sometimes they are not. They are mini-profiles. First person, yes. But a mediated first person. 

In any case, here is one called "A life defined not by disability, but by love."

You should listen to it. You should have a tissue handy. Note how the NPR host actually chokes up at the end.
